Lakeside Foods is seeking Seasonal Maintenance Workers from June 1 through November 20 (estimated timeframe). Candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge, a solid work ethic, multi-tasking skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team. Scheduling options include full shift or partial shift schedules with flexibility to accommodate schooling or other work commitments.
Job Tasks include:
- Perform general maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of plant equipment and machinery.
- Perform minor plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical work.
- Possess adequate welding and fabrication skills.
- Learn all production jobs in various processing areas and perform related duties.
- Show a strong willingness to learn maintenance tasks throughout the facility as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Work at a proficient pace, be self-directed, and maintain specific job assignments throughout the shift.
- Follow all company regulations and policies, prioritising employee safety at all times.
- Report safety, food safety, and production hazards or concerns immediately to supervisors or management.
