Our Chemical and Biological team is looking for a Plastic Fabricator to join our Darlington office on a permanent basis. You will be joining a team that is experienced, working on water projects across the UK.
Some Of Your Key Duties Include:
- Fabricate components from customer samples and/or engineers drawings to customer specifications and maintain/repair existing pipework systems.
- Work with components such as PVC, PP, PVDF and ABS pipework.
- Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems.
- Carry out installation work within the workshop and on site.
- Inspect materials and parts to ensure high standards maintained.
- Safe use of hand tools, machinery and other equipment.
- Opportunities to work both within our local fabrication workshop and remotely as part of our site installation team.
- Assist other disciplines when required.
What Do You Need?
- SVQ OR City and Guilds Qualified in a relevant trade.
- Possess general fabrication/pipework knowledge and experience.
- The ability to understand and reproduce components from engineering drawings and/or customer samples.
- To be organised and have the ability to plan a sequence of events, which are required to fabricate a component from start to finish.
- Capable of self-checking work and to possess high personal standards with respect to Environment, Quality and Health & Safety.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
