Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area. The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in its field with an annual turnover of £40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff. An Engineering Stores Co-ordinator is required to join the loyal and dedicated Engineering team of 9. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide engineering support and accurate consumables/parts stock control/planning having key relationships with engineering team, QA & Hygiene, procurement and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Placing orders
- Maintaining stores and stock records
- Maintain all records of Spares Quotations, bench marking
- Placing engineering orders onto the Pragma system
- Maintain engineering stock levels
- Maintain hygiene chemical and consumables stock
- Enter manual work sheets on the CMMS System and issue as required.
- Liaising with 3rd party contractors as required
- Maintain COSHH register & assessments
- Support the site roll out of SUSA Program
- Help drive the hazard reporting program, and drive / maintain close out of identified hazards
- Take an active part in the health & safety committee
