About the role
The Banking and Capital Markets team in our FS Tax practice (BCM) advises a diverse range of institutions, from major banks, brokerage houses, fintech, and digital asset clients. Based in London, the team is a key part of PwC's global network, supporting both UK and international clients. Our services include tax advisory, deals, audit, and compliance, with sector specialists offering deep expertise. The industry is undergoing significant transformation, making it a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. We are looking to recruit into a new role to better address our clients' needs to work across different tax disciplines and lines of service within PwC. The candidate will primarily help drive client service and develop business for our priority client accounts.
What your days will look like:
- High level of technology proficiency
- High proficiency in financial modelling, including advanced Excel modelling and related technologies
- Confident user of Copilot, Microsoft, and Harvey AI tools, demonstrating leadership in adopting new technologies
- Contribute to and champion the use of new technology within the relevant client team
- Good understanding of the financial services sector, especially banking and capital markets
- Excellent knowledge of services provided by global professional services firms
- Strong business development skills, particularly experience working with senior client executives within PwC and our clients
- Proven ability to identify commercial opportunities for clients and work with them to achieve distinctive outcomes
