Automatic Door Engineer South East Basic salary £40,000 – £50,000 (42.5 hour week) A small but well known industrial and automatic door maintenance specialist is currently looking to expand their automatic door division and is therefore looking to recruit two experienced automatic door specialists to join their existing team. The company therefore requires individuals with a high level of automatic door product expertise. The company has been established for over twenty years and have a respected name in the automatic door, industrial door, gate, and barrier industries. Over the last five years, they have accelerated growth plans, opening new offices and have doubled their Engineer head count. We have been fortunate enough to work with this client on an exclusive basis for many years. Having placed so many Engineers with them, we have a solid insight into the organisation. Almost 90% of the individuals who we have placed with this company, still work there today. As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, Record, Geze, Dorma, Stanley, Tormax, Horton, Label, and more. Occasionally servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional doors, speed doors, overhead doors, shop fronts, and occasionally loading bay equipment. Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment. Basic electrical wiring. Adhering to BS EN 16005 standards.The successful Automatic Door Engineer will have: Experience working for an EN 16005 recognised automatic door company. Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic door systems. A valid EN 16005 certificate. Driving licence. A CSCS Card.
