Are you an experienced and passionate Maths teacher who thrives on supporting young people with complex needs? We’re looking for an inspiring educator to join our dedicated team in a specialist setting that provides high-quality education for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Our secondary provision supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We use a trauma-informed, restorative approach, alongside PACE and emotion coaching strategies, to help learners overcome barriers and reach their potential. Our curriculum is inclusive, personalised, and focused on long-term success—preparing students aged up to 18 for adulthood with dignity, purpose, and hope.
Required:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A current, enhanced DBS check
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and a creative approach to making abstract concepts accessible
- A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures
- The ability to establish consistent, respectful boundaries while building meaningful relationships with students
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to working as part of a close-knit team
- Resilience, adaptability, and a calm approach to challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
