Substance Misuse Recovery Worker – community team, Doncaster

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years.

Aspire is a partnership between ADS and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), combining NHS strengths with voluntary sector expertise. This partnership has provided Drug and Alcohol Services for over 20 years, working closely with recovery communities to deliver flexible, responsive services aimed at achieving the best outcomes for service users and the community.

We are currently offering exciting career opportunities in the drug and alcohol field.

The community teams focus on long-term case management and improving outcomes for adults with issues related to all substances. They employ a key working and care plan approach, supporting specialist prescribed interventions and harm reduction efforts through our prescribing team, with the aim of helping individuals lead fulfilling lives within their communities.

If you have relevant experience in substance misuse and hold a Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse qualification or equivalent, we would like to hear from you.

We offer a comprehensive package of accredited training courses and support for newly qualified Social Workers through the ASYE programme.
