We’re looking for an assistant to join our Vendor Management Office team at Starling. Starling's purpose is underpinned by five values: listen, keep it simple, do the right thing, own it and aim for greatness - you’ll support in upholding these values while undertaking Quality Assurance work, ensuring reporting, due diligence and general documentation align to policy and procedure. You’ll also work closely with the wider team to support in carrying out general administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop an understanding of third party vendor relationships
- Primarily undertake Quality Assurance work on Due Diligence reviews on new and existing vendors
- Document findings, maintaining accurate records
- Perform Due Diligence reviews where required by team colleagues
- Support tracking and closing of due diligence materials and keeping trackers up-to-date in a timely manner
- Monitor Vendor Due Diligence inbox - promptly responding to requests and queries
- Maintain vendor static data - ensure details are loaded correctly and kept up to date in the third-party management system
- Preparing vendor reporting and metrics as required
- Create weekly workstream report summaries to keep all areas of the team on track (e.g. export overdue/upcoming renewals, due diligence deadlines/progress reports)
- Collaborate, maintaining information flow between internal functions
- Participate in initiatives seeking to optimise third-party management system capabilities
- Support wider team in carrying out administrative and ad hoc tasks
Previous experience of supplier administration and/or experience in financial services is desirable but not essential. Excellent administration and organisational skills, able to work independently and cross functionally in meeting deadlines. Computer literate. Proactive and logical. Polite and diligent manner, comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
