About The Position
Are you ready to jump aboard a thrilling journey in the UK Public Sector? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Digital Account Executive to join our team, focusing on the vital areas of Transport and Local Government across the UK and Ireland. This isn’t just a sales role; it’s a chance to be a true subject matter expert and trusted advisor, evangelising cutting-edge marketing and commerce platform solutions that deliver personalised, proactive citizen engagement. You’ll be working in a sector ripe for innovation, particularly in Transport, which is our largest install base and revenue driver, currently undergoing significant transformation. Local Government is also a growing market, with immense potential to leverage proactive, personalised communications to revolutionise contact centres and build citizen trust. We’re seeking an experienced, quota-carrying sales executive who can seamlessly integrate with broader account teams while also generating exciting new opportunities as an individual contributor, focusing on the full Salesforce Marketing and Commerce technology stack, with a keen eye on driving adoption of Data Cloud and Agentforce.
Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert when it comes to Transport and Local Government customers in the UKI region, demonstrating how they can leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions within their organisation.
- Educate the broader Account and Territory teams on the comprehensive capabilities of the Salesforce Marketing and Commerce technology stack, including Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
- Collaborate closely with Account and Territory teams to identify and target accounts where proactive, personalised communications, advertising, and awareness campaigns can drive significant value.
- Create and drive revenue within your specified region and/or list of named accounts, focusing on both new business and expanding existing Salesforce footprints.
- Generate new business opportunities through strategic networking, proactive outreach, and prospecting within current Salesforce customers, highlighting the transformative power of Agentic Technology and Gen-AI solutions.
- Own the entire sales cycle for the Salesforce Marketing and Commerce technology stack, from initial lead generation and deal strategy to pricing, packaging, and ultimately, deal closure.
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas, contributing to the growth of our Public Sector UKI business.
- Drive brand awareness, execute impactful campaigns, and generate leads by leveraging your network and engaging with relevant industry associations and events.
- Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting, providing clear visibility into your pipeline.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and foster long-term retention by consistently demonstrating the value and impact of Salesforce solutions in driving efficiency, innovation, and citizen trust.
Requirements
- Proven track record in software or technology sales, account management, and enterprise software sales.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with significant growth potential.
- Possession of a robust Sales Methodology Education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for translating complex technical concepts into compelling business value.
- Ability to develop detailed business cases and service requirements, while effectively crafting and leading strategic alliances.
- Fluent in English.
- While not essential, prior experience with Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, or similar technologies is highly preferred.
- Public Sector experience is not a prerequisite; we value diverse backgrounds and fresh perspectives.
