Location: Blackpool Council Bickerstaffe Offices

Rate: £30.66 per hour

Hours: Mon to Thurs, 9am – 5pm & Fridays, 9am – 4.30pm

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Adult Social Care Learning Disability Team. The team works with adults and young people living in Blackpool, providing direct support as well as commissioning specialist support from providers.

Responsibilities:

• Working and supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities
• Completing Care Act Assessments and reviews
• Line management by the Learning Disability Team Manager
• Collaborating with Blackpool Council and NHS staff
• Managing safeguarding, risks, and care plans

Qualifications and Experience:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driving license
• Post-qualified experience in social work
• Degree or equivalent in Social Work
