Loba Group are looking for a talented and skilled fire engineer to lead our clients' fire engineering service provision. They have secured the requisite PII to enable the expansion of our existing fire safety and engineering services. This is a new director level position and the responsibilities will include taking on the existing fire engineering service provision and building a fire engineering team at pace. It is the expectation that the fire engineering team will grow quickly to match the immediate and growing demand from existing and new clients. The scope and breadth of related services within the fire engineering team will build upon what they already provide.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carrying out and reviewing of fire risk assessments
- Carrying out FRAEWβs
- Design reviews
- Delivering holistic reviews of fire safety
- Carrying out fire strategies
The successful candidate will need to be fully conversant with current fire safety legislation and technical standards as well as having a full understanding of current fire safety issues, trends and best practice. Ideally, you will have at least a working knowledge / detailed understanding of the following:
- Building Safety Act 2022
- Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 as amended
- Fire Safety Act 2021
- PAS 9980
