Are you a practical, hands-on Project Manager with a passion for engineering and innovation? We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background to help support our innovative client in delivering a range of different projects. From concept to commissioning, as a Project Manager, this is your chance to oversee a range of projects delivering first class customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking charge of multiple bespoke projects from order to delivery, installation and commissioning
- Working closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to deliver against timelines, budgets and expectations
- Leading customer reviews, managing project communications, and resolving technical concerns
- Creating and maintaining project schedules, KPIs, and reports to ensure milestones are met
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and industry standards
- Supporting acceptance testing, managing deviations, and continuously improving future project delivery
- Collaborating cross-functionally to drive quality, innovation and performance
Key requirements of the role:
- (Preferably) a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Real-world, hands-on engineering experience – you love what you do
- Strong understanding of vehicles and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrable experience of managing multiple parallel projects
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organised
- Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools
- Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel
