In the Professional Products Division (PPD), our mission is to be the partner of choice for the professional hair industry, inspiring stylists and creating desirability among consumers with meaningful brands. With a history of over 110 years, our division includes brands like L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken, and Matrix, supplying salons and professional customers with advanced hair and beauty technologies.
A Day in the Life:
- Build credibility as an expert in shopper insights and category trends, using data to develop actionable recommendations and drive decision-making.
- Lead and implement the 1-3 year vision and strategy for the category based on insights from shoppers, consumers, and competitors.
- Develop and execute the GTM strategy, including channel, distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and Activation Teams to craft compelling selling stories.
- Present market dynamics and strategies in division-wide meetings, highlighting key priorities.
- Utilize data tools to analyze performance, track metrics, and optimize strategies.
- Partner with CMI teams on consumer insights to understand category dynamics.
- Work with RGM managers on valorization strategies, including post-event analysis, pricing, and whitespace opportunities, while owning promotional rules in partnership with Activation.
Who You Are:
- Extensive experience in Category Management or Insights, preferably in Beauty or Personal Care.
- Proven success in developing and executing impactful category strategies.
- Deep knowledge of assortment, pricing, and promotional principles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and BI tools like Power BI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on turning insights into actions.
- Confident presenter with storytelling skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to solve complex business problems through data analysis.
- Self-starting attitude with a knack for identifying and building on opportunities.
