Job Purpose

You will play a key role in your store\’s success by working with colleagues and the UK Sales Team to deliver a memorable customer experience to both professionals and DIY customers. Your people skills will help maximize sales and market share of AkzoNobel products. You will also be responsible for customer deliveries to homes and businesses.

This is a part-time role of 30 hours per week, requiring flexibility to work shifts between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in engagement planning and monthly store meetings.
• Ensure customers are welcomed warmly, informed, and receive personalized service.
• Utilize client service tools to maintain consistent customer experience.
• Support the store\’s monthly customer contact plan.
• Follow merchandising plans to restock the shop floor.
• Load the delivery van and plan routes.
• Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do the same using training tools.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or retail roles.
• Valid driving license.
• Enjoy working collaboratively and supporting colleagues.
• Remain calm under pressure.
