Senior Android Engineer, Jetpack Compose | Full Stack | Carbon Reducing, B2B, Series A | Salary up to £125,000 + Equity, Bonus, Benefits | London, Hybrid (2 days PW)

The Company

We are working with a Series A backed scale-up, that has raised over $30 million. The platform is used by the largest eCommerce companies across Europe to help reduce their CO2 footprint at scale.

They have multiple mobile applications built in Flutter, crucial for the delivery infrastructure supporting the warehouse-to-delivery network.

The business is preparing for an AI-driven scale-up phase and is investing heavily in their engineering team.

About The Role

You will join an experienced team working on a platform for couriers to retain loyalty and improve success rates through a seamless Flutter application.

They seek someone with current Flutter experience or strong experience in Jetpack Compose who is open to learning Flutter, as these skills are transferable.

In addition to mobile development, you will take on full-stack responsibilities, working with Python APIs, improving front-end code, and data infrastructure. This is a true software engineering role with diverse responsibilities, primarily mobile-focused but with opportunities to learn across the stack.

Requirements for the Senior Android Engineer, Jetpack Compose | Full Stack | Carbon Reducing, B2B, Series A | Salary up to £125,000 + Equity, Bonus, Benefits | London, Hybrid (2 days PW)

• Minimum 4 years experience in high-performing software teams.
• Extensive mobile development experience; Flutter preferred, but expertise in iOS (SwiftUI) or Android (Jetpack Compose) is acceptable.
• Strong understanding of mobile platforms and a mindset of a software engineer.
• Proven experience working on large-scale software, taking ownership, and wearing multiple hats.
• Some full-stack experience is a plus.
