A successful boutique commercial practice is seeking a Property Lawyer to lead its newly established Property department. This role offers a unique chance to shape and grow an entire service line. While you'll benefit from immediate access to a client base through internal referrals, your primary focus will be on driving the strategic expansion of the firm's property offerings.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both commercial and residential property. Current mandates focus on significant acquisition/disposal of property portfolios and related financing. You won't be starting from scratch; the previous Head of Property is transitioning into a consultancy role and will provide close support and guidance during your onboarding. The vision includes hiring a junior solicitor and a paralegal within the next 18 months. Candidates with an existing client following will be of particular interest, and the firm is flexible regarding terms to accommodate this.
