We are recruiting passionate Security Officers to join our team at client football matches. This event security role requires working Saturdays and occasional Tuesdays. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of event attendees, conducting searches, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor and control event entrances
- Conduct bag searches and report discrepancies
- Monitor and report safety problems
- Patrol the event area and ensure fire safety procedures are followed
- Ensure safe passage for event organisers
- Support event evacuation during fire emergencies
- Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb threats
- Investigate and report thefts, criminal damage, and other incidents
- Manage disruptive behaviour professionally
- Report maintenance and safety hazards to supervisors
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanour with good judgment and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not required)
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor license
- Full five-year checkable employment history
