We’re looking for a passionate Finance Assistant who’s committed to delivering products that cut through the complexities of digital transformation and bring valuable business visions to life.

Contract type: Part time / Flexible working pattern (21 hours)

Contract length: 12 months (covering maternity leave)

Salary: Up to 25k

Location: Leeds/Newcastle

The Opportunity:

Your Mission: As our Finance Assistant you will help maintain the day to day of the finance function, including providing support across a range of functions within the finance department and the wider business.

Aim: This position involves assisting with various financial tasks, including but not limited to; purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, cash flow management and other general administrative duties. Additionally, input will be required with the completion of monthly management accounts and year-end audits.

Measure of success: You will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a fundamental understanding of financial principles.

About you:

  • Xero experience
  • Strong attention to detail including reconciliations
  • Strong Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • The ability to work proactively, independently and manage a varied workload
  • Experience of posting journals and expense management
  • Payment management, including processing bank transfers, DD management
  • Management of Fixed Asset Register
  • Other related month end processes
