We are seeking an Energy Innovation Coordinator, based at our Thurso campus.
Responsibilities:- The post holder will lead and coordinate energy knowledge exchange and innovation activities across UHI.
- You will identify knowledge exchange opportunities, apply for funding, and enable effective coordination and delivery of major energy knowledge exchange and research projects.
- You will engage with a range of internal collaborators and external stakeholders, proactively developing and engaging in research that contributes to UHI's strategic goals on Energy Innovation.
- The suitable candidate will possess the knowledge, skills, and experience typically associated with a first degree, with either a PhD or an equivalent professional qualification or experience.
- Experience in managing collaborative, multi-institutional projects is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to organize your research workload are key.
- You should be capable of preparing research proposals, conducting research, and disseminating results.
- Experience in preparing bids and funding applications is advantageous.
