The registration service is there to record all the significant events in life. We register births, deaths and take notices of civil partnerships and marriages. We conduct and register marriages, civil partnerships, citizenship ceremonies and offer other associated services. We need a Business Support Assistant, based with our Great Yarmouth Team to help us achieve our ambition for Registration and Ceremony Delivery.
In registration there is a lot to learn and retain and we provide thorough training for all the duties. You will be a quick learner, who can perform well under pressure and at speed and is comfortable working on their own. You will need to adapt well to change and be flexible as the duties may vary from week to week.
You must possess excellent IT skills, will need to have good inter-personal skills, demonstrate a commitment to great customer service and meet our high expectations for service delivery and teamwork. Travel to other offices within the county may be required so a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
