The Property team are responsible for ensuring value for money, well-utilised leased accommodation for both clinical and administrative services as well as seek opportunities to maximise revenue income and maintaining accurate occupation records.
Are you up for the challenge, have demonstrable experience in relationship management for engagement between service managers, external contractors, tenants and landlords? Applicants must have good attention to detail.
Please note, this is a fixed term /secondment position until 31st March 2026. Current ESNEFT Employees will be offered on a secondment basis only. This is a part time post with a maximum working hours of 22.5hrs (2 or 3 days per week).
Responsibilities include:
- Liaison and lease negotiations for new property agreements both as a tenant and landlord and all commercial related property including seeking income generation attributed to specific leases.
- Renewals, rates valuations and all associated property matters with NHS landlords, Private Landlords including PFI/LIFT, Local Authorities and other private or public bodies.
- Verifying all property related data and updating the Trust property database.
- Acting as head tenant in relation to staff residential accommodation, agreeing terms, monitoring service contracts and ensuring safe and compliant living quarters.
- Representing all ESNEFT matters at Tenant or equivalent committees across all community sites in conjunction with landlords, reviewing space utilisation and occupancy agreements to ensure all estate is utilised to its optimum.
