What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Care Assistant in a Greensleeves Care Home, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy Manager. You will lead, facilitate, and participate in staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisals, and development activities. You can also expect to administer medication, carry out assessments and care plans. Like everyone at Greensleeves Care, Senior Care Assistants will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing their own part in establishing an environment that’s warm, welcoming, and comfortable.

What you’ll need

You should have a RQF diploma in Social Care Level 2 (or equivalent) with previous experience in providing care at a similar level. You will be familiar and experienced in the safe administration of medication and be committed to providing person centred care to residents. We encourage applications from HCA’s, Health Care Assistants, Support Workers & Domiciliary Carers.
