Responsibilities:
- Enterprise and Business Architecture: Develop enterprise-wide information architecture and processes aligned with Dementia UK's strategic goals. Establish support and governance for this architecture to ensure robustness, security, and controlled information access. Lead the creation and review of systems capability strategies in line with business requirements. Create roadmaps for enterprise architecture and initiatives, securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Strategic Planning: Facilitate and coordinate Dementia UK's IT Strategy, specifying requirements and conducting feasibility studies for strategic benefits. Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, considering policies, technical, and staffing constraints, costs, risks, and benefits.
- Business Process Improvement: Evaluate internal functions, business strategies, and IT processes to suggest improvements. Assess IT systems for vulnerabilities and inefficiencies, recommending enhancements. Drive cost savings through evaluation and optimization of IT investments and total cost of ownership. Identify overlapping systems and processes for rationalization and consolidation. Collaborate with cyber, infrastructure, and service teams to align strategies with operational and security best practices.
- Solution Architecture: Contribute to developing solution architectures across business, infrastructure, or functional areas. Participate in quality reviews of architecture components. Support change programs with technical plans and design principles adhering to standards. Design and implement system integration strategies for seamless operation. Ensure effective integration of new technologies into existing IT environments.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document architectural models and processes using various frameworks. Generate reports and presentations for stakeholders.
