Location: Bewaldeth
We are looking for a Spa Therapist to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Hourly rate of £12.21 plus commission. This is a maternity cover position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 days which will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Typical shift times will either be 9:30am - 6pm or 11:30am - 8pm. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business. This position will start on 1st March 2025 and run until February 2026. On-site staff accommodation is available for the right candidate.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform a range of treatments on guests from our treatment menu, majority will be massage based.
- Answer queries and book appointments, advise guests on suitable treatments.
- Ensure that the salon is appealing to guests.
- Actively work to help promote the spa.
- Upsell beauty products and treatments where appropriate.
- Ensure client confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous salon experience is desired.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy is essential for this position.
- The successful candidate will need to have excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
