We are currently seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic Finance and Business Administration Assessor to join our Apprenticeships department at East Surrey College and John Ruskin College. This role involves visiting learners in the workplace to assess their knowledge and learning for our Finance and Business courses up to Level 3.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting practical assessments
- Monitoring progress
- Training, assessing, and delivering the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification within the workplace
A key function is building strong relationships with industry professionals in Construction on behalf of the College. The post holder must ensure work placements are safe and conducive to learning.
Successful candidates must have:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 4 in Business / AAT qualification (preferably a degree)
- A Certificate/Award in Assessing (IQA or TAQA)
- Proven experience in a Finance or Business Administration role
- A full clean UK driving license and willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes, as travel to local businesses is required
- Excellent administrative and IT skills
- The ability to plan and deliver a flexible workload
It is highly desirable for candidates to also hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance and a teaching qualification.
