This role is ideal for someone wanting to be a part of a team that drives change across the organisation. Whilst working on key projects that are key to us achieving our vision you will be energetic, organised and take a structured approach to getting things done.

As an Evolution Project and Impact Officer, a typical day might include:

  • Supporting key evolutionary and wholesale change projects across the group to drive impact in our communities and for our customers.
  • Working with all areas to integrate and develop improved ways of working and new services for our communities to improve their overall experience.
  • Working closely with project managers across the group in different teams, ensuring the successful delivery of all projects on time and within budget.
  • Reporting on projects progress, budgets and resources whilst overseeing the project brief to make sure that timeframes and governance are adhered to.
  • Documenting the progress of projects and feeding back to the project group throughout ensuring that meetings and agendas are set, and actions are followed.
  • Managing relationships across the group on a day-to-day basis to ensure people are kept up to speed and included along the journey.
  • Documenting and reviewing projects in line with the key project deliverables.
  • Having the ability to produce reports and updates for teams involved in all projects.
  • Ensuring tight control of action plans, risk registers and key milestones – working with the wider teams to monitor this.
  • Delivering key activities to ensure completion of projects are integrated into the group successfully.
  • Connecting with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers, making sure that any hurdles are dealt with, and the project is always on track.
  • Sharing best practice that you identify both internally and externally to enhance project performance.
  • Working closely with the IT project and data team to ensure efficiencies and improvements are incorporated into our evolution projects and that we are all working towards key objectives together.
  • Always incorporating our people's voice within our projects and making sure that we evolve our services and projects in line with our corporate strategy.
  • Working with customers and communities to ensure their voice is heard and the impact they need to see from projects is delivered and monitored through all projects.
  • Capturing impact, success and evaluation of activities across the group – with a particular focus on social value measurement and the difference it makes in our communities.
  • Supporting research and insight projects to drive stakeholder engagement and our wider growth ambitions.

  • Experience of working on projects of any size from start to end.
  • Working collaboratively across a variety of service areas to ensure projects are implemented successfully.
  • A proven track record in delivering projects to both existing and new service areas alike.
  • Ability to create new relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure project implementation is a success and projects are embedded in the Acis way.
  • Working collaboratively across the team and group to ensure we are effectively implementing evolution projects.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a methodical and inclusive approach to maximise the project deliverables.
  • Excellent IT skills to confidently document all project stages.
  • Being solution focused you will thrive in ensuring projects are completed and implemented fully before handing over and agreeing a timeline to review implementation success.

  • You will have already had exposure and worked on a variety of projects, which you have successfully implemented within your organisation.
  • Experience of working with a variety of teams or services and evidence of how you have brought them together to deliver and embed change.
  • Working towards or hold a project qualification.
  • Understanding of social value or an interest in developing knowledge of this.
  • Community engagement activities or experience.
  • Impact measurement tools – or an interest in developing knowledge of this.
