Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the scheduling of internal and external, construction-specific, training programmes and certifications (e.g., Health and Safety, CSCS cards, NVQs).
  • Maintain and update training records, schedules, and databases with accuracy and efficiency, particularly for site operatives and construction-specific qualifications.
  • Track training attendance, participation, and post-training feedback to report on programme outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with construction industry standards, regulations, and mandatory certifications.
  • Manage the submission and reconciliation of CITB grant claims to maximise funding for training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with CITB requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for CITB-related processes and assist the organisation in navigating funding opportunities.
  • Analyse training metrics to identify improvement areas and enhance the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
  • Stay updated on construction industry trends and CITB policies to implement best practices within the organisation.

Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
