Role Summary
Join the Anthropologie European buying team as the Bags/Soft Accessories and Beauty Buyer, reporting to the Buying Manager for Womenswear. We seek an experienced buyer with creative flair to develop a compelling product offer, always prioritizing customer needs to deliver an exciting and balanced range. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is ambitious, self-motivated, and dynamic.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Manage class assortment, OTB, range planning, IMU goals, and attribute balancing. (Experience with Bags is preferred.)
- Trade and react quickly while maintaining a consistent product offering.
- Develop focused strategies for both long and short lead departments, including presenting to senior management.
- Expand direct business and explore retail market potential.
- Drive business goals through seasonal initiatives.
- Build ranges from US-based own brand products and source the UK product mix, working closely with vendors to create innovative designs.
- Actively source diverse and inclusive product ranges.
- Champion sustainability and support growth aligned with brand strategy.
- Manage team operations to ensure smooth critical path execution, including retail strategies and marketing support.
- Conduct sales analysis and implement strategies with planning to meet budget targets.
- Stay abreast of trends, develop and source fitting products and brands.
- React to changing market demands.
- Prepare and present weekly sales meetings and assortment reviews.
- Collaborate on additional brand-level tasks to meet business objectives from product to delivery.
- Work closely with global partners to leverage opportunities.
- Represent the brand with integrity and authority as a true brand ambassador.
- Travel to the US head office as needed, including EU travel.
