We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team. This team is a small, well-established, dedicated social care service for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions. The mental health social work teams provide specialist services for adults over 18. They support recovery from mental health difficulties and promote independence through person-centered support that offers choice and control.
As a Mental Health Social Worker, your responsibilities will include assessing, coordinating, and arranging care for service users with mental health issues, including dementia, in both community and hospital settings. You must be registered with Social Work England or your relevant professional body. Experience in health or social care is essential, along with excellent communication skills. A passion for integrated working and an understanding of engaging with local communities and partners are also required.
