The business is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Newton Aycliffe. The organisation employs 25 staff and has a £3m turnover. The business specialises in bespoke fabrications. This is a temp to perm opportunity following a successful probation period.
You will form a team of 6 Welder/Fabricators in total. The business has a guaranteed order book for the next 18 months and can provide job security due to its diverse client range.
THE ROLE
- MIG welding
- Sheet metal work up to 5mm
- Bespoke tanks & vessel welding and fabrication
- Quality checking work
- Fillet & Butt welds
THE PERSON
- Sheet metal and MIG welding experience
- High degree of accuracy & detail
- Able to read and work from drawings
- Overhead crane experience
- FLT experience
