Role Overview The Optimization and ML Product Manager will lead the development and enhancement of AI-powered optimization and machine learning (ML) capabilities. This role requires expertise in mathematical programming (linear and quadratic programming), machine learning models, and solver technologies to create advanced decision-support solutions for enterprise customers. This position demands a combination of technical depth, strategic vision, and cross-functional leadership to drive innovation in AI-driven decision-making, forecasting, and optimization. Your Impact Develop and Refine Product Roadmap: Define and execute the product roadmap for optimization and machine learning capabilities, aligning innovations with business needs and market trends. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with data scientists, engineers, designers, and business teams to define product requirements, ensuring solutions provide tangible customer value and business impact. Feature Prioritization and Development: Prioritize features based on customer feedback, market research, technical feasibility, and business value. Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and post-launch refinement. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Establish and track KPIs for model accuracy, scalability, and efficiency. Iterate on product features to enhance solver performance based on data-driven insights. Mathematical Programming and Solver Integration: Develop and integrate linear and quadratic programming solutions into Anaplan’s platform, working with solvers like Gurobi and other mathematical engines. Your Qualifications Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience in product management for optimization and/or ML solutions. Strong track record in developing and deploying advanced analytics and enterprise ML products. Expertise in Mathematical Optimization: linear programming (LP), quadratic programming (QP), and mixed-integer programming (MIP). Proficiency in Machine Learning models, including time-series forecasting, clustering, random forest, and deep learning. Hands-on experience with solvers like Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP, or GLPK. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Preferred Skills Strategic thinking for long-term AI/ML optimization strategies. Strong analytical skills for assessing and refining AI solutions. Customer-centric mindset to translate business challenges into AI solutions. Cross-functional collaboration skills to drive product adoption. Leadership and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders. Adaptability and innovation to incorporate emerging AI technologies.
