Drive investigations within Serious and Organised Crime and Major Crime. EMSOU has an exciting opportunity to recruit multiple Analysts to support investigations from the developmental stage to the criminal justice process. As a Regional Intelligence Researcher, you will use your excellent research and problem-solving skills to support regional organised group mapping processes. You will stay up-to-date with evolving intelligence analytical techniques and maintain a professional understanding of the operational environment.

Please note: Vacancies are available in our Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU), Targeting Organised Exploitation (TOEX), and Regional Prisons Intelligence Unit (RPIU).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensure that prevention, intelligence, and reassurance activity are prioritized.
  • Proactively apply analytical techniques as defined within the NIM.
  • Provide detailed briefings to a range of senior stakeholders.

The Must Haves

  • Experience in problem-solving and researching large datasets.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Experience conducting briefings and presentations.
