CNC Operators, 6 months contract, possibility of permanent contract for the right applicant. Will be starting on standard days for training, and then will transfer onto Weekend Nights.

Standard rate is £12.63/£13.44 an hour - dependent on experience, when transferred onto weekend nights, hourly rate will be £22.11/£23.52 an hour - dependent on experience. Currently looking for Time Served/Semi-Skilled CNC Machinists with either Milling or Turning experience. Company specialises within the Aerospace sector.

Responsibilities of the Machinist are:

  • Ability to work to company standards and work to instructions as defined by the engineering team
  • Be fully conversant with the interpretation of stage drawings and able to carry out running checks on established products for other cell users
  • Working as part of a team to contribute to improving any working processes
  • Achieve high standards of quality in line with targeted levels of output whilst working safely and maintaining full product traceability
  • Need to have CNC Operating experience, there is no setting or programming involved
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer drawings, safety rules
  • Working knowledge of various machine types, and processes
