This is a fixed-term position until March 2026, with a shift pattern from Tuesday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.

The Public Dental Service - Dental Nurse role is based within the Greater Glasgow & Clyde area. It involves supporting clinicians in various settings, including:

  • paediatrics
  • adult special care
  • domiciliary care
  • emergency care
  • outreach clinics
  • theatres
  • prisons
  • schools
  • the National Dental Inspection Programme (NDIP)

The role requires covering multiple locations across the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area to meet service needs.

Applicants must hold a recognized Dental Nursing Qualification and be registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Nurse. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of R4 Clinical Plus (Electronic Patient Management System) and a qualification in Inhalation Sedation.
