Main Purpose Of Role: To load materials into HGV Vehicles, rehandle as stocking, ensuring stockpiles are compiled in accordance with relevant Health and Safety requirements, including edge protection, stop and tips.

Duties And Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily inspection of machinery, including undercarriage, is conducted.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance such as greasing, cleaning, and monitoring.
- Maintain and inspect attachments.
- Record and report on daily check sheets, including hours and defects.
- Follow start-up and shut-down procedures for machinery.
- Operate machinery competently and within site conditions.
- Ensure all operations comply with Quarry Regulations.
- Report any problems to the Quarry Manager.
- Wear PPE at all times.
- Responsible for removing waste products in line with the Company’s Environmental policy.
- Comply with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, highlighting issues appropriately.
- Act in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and practices.
- Perform other duties as directed.

- Enthusiastic, committed, and a fast learner with experience in a busy environment.

- Strong communication skills and willingness to take instruction.
- Recognized qualification to operate plant (preferably CPCS) or working towards it.
