As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you’ll play a leading role in designing high-performance electronic hardware that powers next-generation satellite payloads, instruments, and sensors. This is an opportunity to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible in space technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hardware development across the full lifecycle – from specification and design to testing and delivery.
- Design complex digital circuits using FPGAs/SoCs and high-density multi-layer PCBs.
- Integrate SoC IP and firmware; support system-level validation and qualification.
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses (e.g., reliability, radiation, derating, EMI/EMC).
- Direct in-house and external PCB layout teams to deliver manufacturing-ready designs.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation and manufacturing packages.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong commercial experience in digital hardware design.
- Proven expertise with AMD SoCs/FPGAs and firmware integration.
- Strong background in high-speed circuit design and multi-layer PCB layouts (10+ layers).
- Skilled with simulation/design tools such as LTSpice, Allegro, ADS, Hyperlynx, HFSS, or CST.
- Experience in FPGA design using Verilog/VHDL.
