About the Role
At St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education. We need people who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities, and want to make a difference by sharing your first aid skills and knowledge. As a Community First Aider, youβll deliver first aid at local events and provide education to the public to promote the importance of First Aid.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first aid at community events.
- Provide first aid education to the public.
- Support community partnerships and grow our membership and fundraising efforts.
- Promote the message that First Aid Saves Lives.

Training & Support
We will provide a comprehensive induction and necessary training for your role, along with a supportive environment throughout your volunteering journey. Details about roles, expectations, and our volunteer charter are included in the role descriptions.
Selection Process
The selection process, including interviews and ID checks, will take place during our Welcome Event on Saturday, 28th June. Successful applicants will undertake training on either 2nd and 3rd August or 16th and 17th August.
