Job Title: Child Protection Social Worker

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Rate: £38 per hour

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate (CLA) Social Worker to join the dedicated Children’s Services team in Southend-on-Sea. In this vital role, you will work with children and young people who are in the care of the local authority, ensuring their safety, well-being, and positive outcomes for their futures.This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact while working in a forward-thinking, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of looked after childrenConduct statutory visits, reviews, and assessmentsDevelop and review care plans in line with the child’s best interestsWork collaboratively with multi-agency professionals and carersPrepare and present reports for Looked After Children (LAC) reviews and court proceedings where applicablePromote permanence, stability, and positive development for every child
