A very exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team to help provide support to our residents at our service in Middlesbrough. Working in an environment dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support, and resettlement, you will work with people living with mental health and similar needs who require support and accommodation.

Your responsibilities include assessing needs, building trust, enabling residents, and unlocking their potential to live independently. You will get to know your residents, enhance their social integration and abilities by encouraging participation in social and leisure programs, and assist with their support needs and daily living tasks.

Shift Pattern: Rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.

About The Candidate: You should naturally work in a manner aligned with Salvation Army Homes' values, demonstrating understanding, patience, pride in your work, and the ability to build strong relationships. Experience working with homeless or vulnerable people is preferred, along with knowledge of support and funding facilities. You should be comfortable handling complex situations. The role may require on-call shifts, including nights, on a rota basis.
