We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Fashion Photographer to join our studio team to shoot daily on set. This role is ideal for someone with strong editorial experience, an eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and the technical proficiency to maintain the highest standard of visual content.
As a key senior team member, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the studio, supporting both daily photographic output and workflow optimisation.
As a Senior Fashion Photographer you will:
- Photographic Standards & Innovation
- Uphold high-quality standards across all photographic content, ensuring brand consistency and excellence.
- Lead Fashion sets and set the standard in quality and daily KPI delivery.
- Take initiative in testing and implementing innovative shooting techniques, communicating changes clearly to the wider team.
- Assist in creating and updating resource packs and technical guides for photographers.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Support and motivate team members, fostering a positive and collaborative studio environment.
- Actively participate in weekly team and senior team meetings, sharing ideas and key updates.
- Provide daily support to the Photography Editor and support the studio in their absence.
- Support more junior team members, promoting skill development and best practices.
- On-Set Responsibilities
- Build a strong rapport with models to ensure relaxed, confident poses that meet the brandβs visual standards.
- Direct models effectively to capture the most flattering angles and on-brand imagery.
- Work collaboratively with the Styling and Hair & Makeup teams to ensure cohesive and elevated visual output.
- Shoot across multiple set types, including model and mannequin as required.
- Operational Support
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of studio photography equipment, liaising with the Photography Editor and external suppliers for repairs when necessary.
- Contribute to workflow improvements, increasing the efficiency of the photography team.
- Ensure timely attendance and reliability to help maintain a smooth and productive studio workflow.
- Creative Contribution
- Support creative content development across digital channels when required, bringing innovative ideas and a strong technical foundation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate the overall customer experience through strong visual storytelling.
You will have:
- Proven experience as an e-commerce or fashion photographer, ideally in a high-volume studio environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of studio lighting, digital capture, and post-production workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-first attitude.
- Comfortable directing models and collaborating closely with stylists and other creatives.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to studio operations and problem-solving.
- Expert knowledge of Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital asset management systems.
- Passion for fashion, digital commerce, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with video and continuous lighting is desirable.
