Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Transactions: Drive end-to-end deal execution, from structuring to closing, ensuring high-quality deliverables and proactive issue resolution.
- Client Partnering: Build trusted relationships, lead client meetings, and provide strategic insight throughout the deal process.
- Risk & Compliance: Manage engagement risks and ensure full compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards.
- Business Growth: Identify opportunities, lead origination efforts, and contribute to pitches, proposals, and networking initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage teams, providing clear direction and developing junior talent.
- Strategic Advice: Advise on M&A, debt, and valuation, bringing commercial acumen and technical expertise.
- Practice Development: Shape the growth of the Corporate Finance practice through strategic input and operational improvements.
About You:
- Degree-qualified and/or a Chartered Accountant with 6-8+ years' experience in a leading accounting, advisory, or corporate finance environment.
- Significant experience in corporate finance, valuation, and leveraged finance, with a strong track record in leading complex transactions from origination through to execution.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities, coupled with deep proficiency in Excel and the broader MS Office suite.
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify, assess, and capitalise on M&A and investment opportunities.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and building trusted client relationships at a senior level.
- Familiarity with key financial data sources such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg, and the ability to use them to drive insight and inform decision-making.
- Demonstrated success across a broad range of transaction types, including private equity deals, carve-outs, and cross-border M&A.
- Comfortable contributing to business development, client origination, and shaping the firm's go-to-market strategy.
