Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the implementation of the environmental policy and compliance with legislation across diverse infrastructure projects.
- Conducting site visits and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering training as needed.
- Supporting documentation processes within the wider group and developing new systems to enhance environmental practices.
- Acting as the primary contact for the environmental sustainability program with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in environmental and sustainability roles, preferably within utilities, civils, or related sectors.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in an environmental discipline.
- Membership with a recognized environmental organization such as IEMA, CIEEM, or CIWEM is preferred.
- A passion for excellence and a desire to develop a career in environmental sustainability.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Travel will be involved; a valid UK driving license is necessary.
