The Strategic Broker Distribution Manager is responsible for implementing the strategic direction and business development activities for IQUW’s key broker accounts. They will manage key relationships, gather insights, and develop positioning, value propositions, and messaging to ensure effective communication with the right audience at the right time.
This role involves ensuring broker contract strategies are executed across the business, engaging with senior stakeholders, and providing data insights, meeting packs, and structured meetings to enhance the broker experience. The manager will build mutually beneficial relationships with trading partners, foster collaboration within IQUW, and contribute to strategic and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and execute broker distribution strategies aligned with syndicate objectives.
- Gather and prioritize broker-related business feedback for the Broker Distribution Group (BDG).
- Oversee the delivery of Broker Service Agreements (BSAs), ensuring service levels are met.
- Monitor broker performance and optimize engagement plans.
- Share market insights, trends, and intelligence with underwriting teams.
- Attend broker meetings, document actions, and track progress.
- Produce reporting packs for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), external broker meetings, and governance forums.
- Facilitate broker communications across underwriting and teams.
- Work with insurer partner markets to develop strategic business plans.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams.
- Lead or participate in strategic projects.
- Reinforce our value proposition during broker interactions.
- Escalate broker-related risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
