Contract Type: Ongoing Contract

Shift Patterns: Mon – Thu, Fri – Sun

Note: All shifts are on a rotation of two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts.

Day Shift: 6am-5.30pm

Night Shift: 6pm-5.30am

Initial training will take place during weekdays (Mon-Thu) for the first 6 weeks.

Pay Rate:

  • Mon-Thu shift: £9-£11
  • Fri-Sun shift: £11-£14.50

Role Overview: Working in a busy manufacturing and production environment for a large engineering company, offering an opportunity to join a world-renowned organization specializing in subsea telecommunications equipment.

Team Environment: Collaborate with Technical Assembly Operators, Support Engineers, and Team Leaders to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate assembly processes.

Main Duties:

  • Use electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly skills to ensure product quality.
  • Follow engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Build, assemble, and install modules of the product suites.
  • Complete rack wiring for panels as per drawings.
  • Assemble power supply units and install cubicles.
  • Work on control panels, including wiring with crimp tools.
  • Solder components and D-type connectors.
  • Perform electrical and prototype wiring.
  • Build PCBs.
