Band 3 Healthcare Assistant – Mental Health

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are already trained as Band 2 and are ready to take the next step in their healthcare career, or trained Band 3 Healthcare Assistants wanting to develop their skills in a fast paced environment.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Minimum of 6 months acute healthcare experience obtained in the UK.
• Evidence of full immunity to Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella.
• Right to work in Northern Ireland without restriction. We cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
• CPI Training

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate assistance to patients with their daily needs.
• Aid patient’s mobility, ensuring they feel safe and confident.
• Monitor and document patients\’ health signs.
• Be a friendly presence, offering emotional support.
• Encourage participation in activities and hobbies to enhance patients’ mood and wellbeing.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
