We are currently recruiting for a skilled mechanical technician who has experience in all aspects of mechanical assembly activities within the integration of advanced technology, in particular automated and process systems. Suitable candidates must have assembly, metrology, adjustment and blueprint interpretation experience.

The role is an exciting one, carrying out tasks related to the production process under the supervision of the Assembly Manager or Section Manager and in accordance with the standards and procedures established by the Group's Quality Policy.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Identify in advance the materials, resources and information necessary to carry out the assembly.
  • Obtain the identified items to perform the assembly according to the established guidelines and procedures.
  • Carry out the assigned assembly tasks within the required time and quality standards, reporting to the manager any issues identified that could hinder its execution.
  • Understand the needs of the client (both external and internal) and work proactively to fulfil the commitments made.
  • Read and understand documentation and blueprints for assembly.
  • Comply with the management system's procedures and instructions related to the activity being performed.
  • Resolve necessary incidents in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Report incidents and progress of assemblies objectively and well-documented (both at the client's site and in-plant) in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Rigorous compliance with safety and health guidelines and protocols.
  • Use of 5S tools.
  • Be responsible for the care, proper use and handling of the equipment and tools at your disposal.
  • Use measuring equipment correctly and have a correct interpretation of the measurements.
  • Properly use assembly tools and resources, complying with usage instructions and the training received.
  • Proactively propose new ideas to improve both assembly processes and the product.
  • Explore new solutions for existing problems by making improvement proposals.
  • Actively collaborate in the transfer of knowledge to other people within the organization.
Education & Qualifications
  • Mechanical Vocational Training / HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven track record working with laser tracker and/or interferometry.
  • Knowledge of electrical / pneumatic systems.
  • Working with Tightening bolted joints INS 75032, and measuring straightness, positioning, and angularity with high precision.
