This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London and Manchester. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include eBay, Roblox, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a skilled Motion Designer / Art Director to join our creative team. In this role, you will collaborate with designers, art directors, and creatives to produce engaging animations and videos that effectively convey complex concepts and meet client objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, meticulous attention to detail, and expertise in industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. You’ll be a conceptual thinker able to come up with visual ideas for social media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate creative ideas from concept to deliver determining the campaign look and feel.
  • Develop eye-catching motion graphics for digital platforms, such as social media, websites, and video content.
  • Edit video content for social media, offering creative input to develop engaging assets that adhere to brand guidelines, current trends, and social media best practices.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop and put into action fresh ideas that align with our clients and objectives.
  • Utilize industry-standard software and tools to design and animate graphics, including Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Ensure high-quality output by staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in motion design such as AI.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Work closely with the team and clients to develop and deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and quality control throughout the design and production process.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience as a designer / art director in an agency setting.
  • Professional experience in motion design in a relevant industry or agency experience.
  • Develop and refine initial concepts—whether your own or those of others—to produce high-quality animated designs.
  • Well organized, responsible and dedicated to your work.
  • Self-learning and being able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast evolving environment.
  • A keen interest for design for social media and new trends.
  • Expert level skills in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience in moving AI is a plus but not required.
  • Full working proficiency in the English language.
