An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock Garden Centre to be part of an inspirational team as a Gift Department Assistant.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Position Details:
- Full-time shifts including working every other weekend and a day off in the week.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting all customers and offering assistance.
- Experience in merchandising would be an advantage.
- Assisting in booking stock deliveries, stocking, and pricing with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently.
- Working to deadlines and managing time effectively.
- Identifying customer needs through interaction and taking appropriate action.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the centre layout.
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping according to company guidelines.
- Ensuring personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guidelines.
- Packing goods professionally, taking care not to damage items.
- Maintaining harmonious relationships with staff, managers, and third parties.
- Ensuring trolleys and baskets are always available.
