Gift Department Assistant

An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock Garden Centre to be part of an inspirational team as a Gift Department Assistant.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Position Details:

Full-time shifts including working every other weekend and a day off in the week.

Responsibilities:

Greeting all customers and offering assistance.
Experience in merchandising would be an advantage.
Assisting in booking stock deliveries, stocking, and pricing with attention to detail and accuracy.
Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently.
Working to deadlines and managing time effectively.
Identifying customer needs through interaction and taking appropriate action.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the centre layout.
Ensuring high standards of housekeeping according to company guidelines.
Ensuring personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guidelines.
Packing goods professionally, taking care not to damage items.
Maintaining harmonious relationships with staff, managers, and third parties.
Ensuring trolleys and baskets are always available.
