An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock Garden Centre to be part of an inspirational team as a Gift Department Assistant.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Position Details:

  • Full-time shifts including working every other weekend and a day off in the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting all customers and offering assistance.
  • Experience in merchandising would be an advantage.
  • Assisting in booking stock deliveries, stocking, and pricing with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently.
  • Working to deadlines and managing time effectively.
  • Identifying customer needs through interaction and taking appropriate action.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the centre layout.
  • Ensuring high standards of housekeeping according to company guidelines.
  • Ensuring personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guidelines.
  • Packing goods professionally, taking care not to damage items.
  • Maintaining harmonious relationships with staff, managers, and third parties.
  • Ensuring trolleys and baskets are always available.
