Sales Handover Specialist - Ipswich Volkswagen

We are currently seeking a Sales Handover Specialist to join our sales team at Ipswich Volkswagen.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be outgoing, energetic, and process-driven.

Experience in the industry is preferred but not essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the vehicle handover process for all new and used vehicles within the retailer environment, from start to finish.
2. Inspect vehicles prior to handover, including fuel levels and accessory fittings. Ensure all service manuals, book packs, and handover forms are prepared.
3. Greet customers and prepare for vehicle handover within the retailer.
4. Deliver a customer experience that exceeds expectations by demonstrating vehicle technology and ensuring mobile devices are paired and radio stations are set to customer preferences.
5. Present personalized handover gifts to customers.
6. Arrange, by appointment, a complimentary follow-up visit to address additional technical needs.
7. Complete and check delivery/handover files, ensuring all forms and documents are signed and accurate.
8. Create personalized automotive videos to enhance trust and transparency post-handover.
9. Follow up with customers after handover to confirm their satisfaction and gather feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Confident communicator with strong rapport-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and adapt to ad-hoc requirements.
• A team player.
• Experience in customer handling, telephone etiquette, and communication.
• Valid UK driving license.
