Job Opportunity: Summer Cleaning Operative at University of Worcester

Over the summer, the Facilities Department at the University of Worcester will host a high volume of conference guests, ranging from international summer school visitors to groups booking conference events. This increased demand offers opportunities for individuals seeking work experience to join a summer team that supports the university\’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing cleaning services across various university sites and facilities, including deep cleaning with specialist equipment.
• Supporting the operational needs of the university during the summer period.

Candidate Requirements:

• Highly motivated and flexible, available to work 7 days a week from June to September 2025.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Physical fitness suitable for cleaning activities.

About the Department:

The Facilities Department includes Accommodation, Conferencing, Reception, Estates, Commercial bookings, Catering, Security Operations, Cleaning, Campus Services, Grounds, and Security. This role is specifically within the Cleaning Services team, which provides comprehensive cleaning across all university sites and facilities, including deep cleaning with specialized equipment.

Work Locations:

Your work will be based at the University of Worcester, which includes sites such as St Johns, Battenhall, Stephenson Terrace, Grove Farm, City Centre, Lakeside, University Arena & Riverside, and the Three Counties Medical School. You may be required to work at any of these locations.
